Yay! I have finally created something that even my thoroughly critical DH loves!! He was most lavish in his praise for this modern, free swaying Geometrically shaped Illusion Necklace - charming for the simplest to the most dressed up occasion and ideal for the Modern Bride.

It combines class, lightness and airiness, with nature's very alluring shells, enhanced further by the always incomparable Swarovski Elements, presented here in Crystals Pearls and precision Crystals.

The necklace is loose and free hanging for maximum gentle movement and sits comfortably when worn. Security clasp in the hallmark Sterling Silver eternity clasp.

Construction Notes

I was lucky to have some comparatively rare 4-holed shell beads. I didn't even they had 4 holes and when I did, it just opened up new vistas of possibilities to me. The design of this is optimal when worn as its geometric juxapositional look falls into place.

I used both crimps and beads to secure the "floating" beads along the illusion thread. I also employed knots which is normally not desirable. But I wanted some kinkiness look in the double strands of illusion threading and the knotting gave me that bit of extra kink so that the beads and thread were not just lying limply next to each other.
