Constructed with quality Rhodium plated brass based Pandora-style ear chains (Limited quantities of these findings are available from my store at: clearlychosen.com.au) that hold CZ pandora-style spacers and ends with a large cheeky drop of handmade beaded wooden ball covered with the Dusky colors of the day.

Addendum Sept 2010:

I have a pair like this for moi and I wore it out the other night for dinner with DH.
Originally when he saw this earrings design, he was not impressed as per normal. But over dinner, he was mesmerized (by the earrings). He said that IRL, when worn, is captivating. He said, if he was meeting me for the first time, he would definitely Notice big time the earrings :D Unbeknownst to me, it is in the construct of the whole piece. When you wear it and your head moves (as in normal talking) .. the earrings bounce and move around quite a bit. The more animated you get, the more animated they get!!! (I confess that I tend to get Very animated.)
Was very pleased with DH :)

Construction Notes

Base Beading Weave: RAW (right angle weave): working from center with 2 needles. Depending on the size of the beads used for the base (here being wooden rondelle seed beads - I think it was about 5x3R), you first create the base. Then join to form a tube (that will just nicely fit over the Pandora chain). Next sew in the crystal petite flowers. Now it will look like a roundish ball-bead with a center hole. Neaten/reinforce one edge of the hole, using very small seed beads to interspace the edge wooden beads as you sew in the round. This is be the bottom of the ball-bead.

(opt) you would have screwed in a Pandora-style space up to the center of the ear chain. Fix with a dollop of glue to affix permanently . (I used Helmar 450).

When you push up the beaded ball bead, it should not be able to go all the way up if the bottom hole is securely reinforce and tightened so that the hole is smaller the the chain's end. Which is how I wanted it. Before I tightened up the top edge of the ball-bead's hole, I smeared some glue onto the end "knob" of the ear chain - this is for extra security to ensure the ball will not fall off. Then I tightened the top edge of the ball-bead very tightly for good measure.

Standard beading thread has been used. (ILoveU #2 nylon).
