This is part of my continuing journey with my handmade felted cabs. Now I am into making cute animals and stuff.

This couple here is Bert and Ernie Brooch. Are they gay? You gotta ask them yourself but I reckon they are cute and obviously very happy with each other.

And as their surname implies, they is a brooch :)

Like Emily Oot, the Bert and Ernie Brooch are not very big but they do enjoy a lot of attention and I do confess, they are pretty proud of their looks as well as their intellect. And they respond well to TLC.

Some Construction Notes

The "backside" of Bert and Ernie - a festive and strong ribbon tape has been used to reinforce the backing to the brooch back. It is designed to hold the pair together through many years.
